Earlier in the year, Parade of Flesh, the moniker for John Iskander’s one-man booking “boutique” stated an idea: he wanted to have a black metal show at Medieval Times.

It’s a grand, hilarious idea from the always-busy Iskander, and it juxtaposes nicely with today’s announcement: Parade of Flesh will present a comedy-based show at the Texas Theatre featuring Neil Hamburger, Tim Heidecker (of the Tim & Eric Show), Kenny “K-Strass” Strasser Yo-Yo Extravaganza, and support from DJ Douggpound. The show’s on January 11, 2013, which sounds like a date in a Philip Dick novel, and is on sale right now for $16 ($20 day of show).
Look for this to be a fun one, as Iskander’s always booking well-curated evenings of entertainment (see: our Best of Award for Best SXSW Hangover cure). Also, Tim Heidecker is one-half responsible for one of the funniest videos that has ever been on the Internet ever:
