Schutze is at the Don Hill trial today, and during the lunch break he was sent word that WFAA and The Dallas Morning News buildings on César Chávez were cordoned off by police. Till moments ago, the Dallas Police Department’s Web site listed an active call down thataways with no further explanation, and as there’s been no mention of said incident on either the ‘FAA or DMN sites, well, we asked Dallas police spokesman Kevin Janse what the what. To which he responded:

There was a suspicious object that was attached to a light pole out front on Young Street (Frisbee-type thing with wires and a vile of liquid). Bomb squad said it is not anything dangerous. We are printing it to see who put it on the light pole.
