By my count, some 100 teams participated in the 7th Annual 24-Hour Video Race, the winners of which will screen during the upcoming Dallas Video Festival and on KERA-Channel 13’s Frame of Mind. The teams turned in their shorts Saturday night — and, from the looks of it, started posting them to the YouTube and Vimeo shortly after that, as about seven have surfaced thus far in advance of screenings that begin tomorrow at the Angelika Film Center in Mockingbird Station.
After the jump, a couple thus far — and keep in mind, of course, all participants had to use the same the same theme (“twist of fate”), the same prop (“a key”), the same location (“anywhere a sport is played”) and a common line of dialogue (“How much is this thing going to cost me?” — or close enough).
