Taking a break from his duties as radio personality and producer of the popular Bo & Jim morning show on Lone Star 92.5, Randy James found himself in California.

Fresno, California.

Actually, he is spending the holidays with family there. Yet he still consented to providing City of Ate with a Top 10 list of foods to sample in that vacation paradise. Unfortunately, he didn’t quite make it to 10…but it is Fresno.

1. Homemade tamales and eggs for breakfast at the James family home. (I plan on eating tamales well into the new year)
2. Barbecued Santa Maria Tri-Tip
3. The pepper steak and cheese sandwich at Full-o-Bull in downtown Clovis (one of my childhood favorites).
