The Dallas Morning News‘ Leslie Brenner reported this week that the long-awaited In-N-Out Burgers near Frisco and Allen, the California chain’s first foray into the DFW area, is set to open next week. But what about those of us who consider Frisco a bit too near the edge of civilization (i.e. close to Oklahoma) to make the trek? When, oh when, will the Dallas Central Expressway location open?
Answer: Later this month, we are being told by folks at the company’s Tracy, California, headquarters.
This means fewer than 30 days until Double-Double burgers and “animal style” fries. And to tide you over, here is our unofficial recipe for animal style sauce. Do try this at home, kids.
3 tablespoons mayonnaise 1 tablespoon ketchup 2 teaspoons pickle relish 1/2 teaspoon vinegar 1/2 teaspoon sugar
