The Dallas Observer operates under a strict “work hard/play hard” policy, so when we throw a party, everyone shows up. Our annual Artopia event takes things even further by blending the best of Dallas’ visual, performance, and fashion arts together into one, illuminating showcase. It’s our chance to give back to our city’s most inspirational visionaries by showing them off to a larger, more diverse market.
This year’s event takes over the Dallas Contemporary on Saturday, January 26, and will showcase the city’s three best emerging fashion talents center stage, in a fully-produced runway show. Are you one of them, or do you know one of them? We want to hear from you.
Nominations for fashion designers have opened up, and there’s no fee to submit your work for review. Just hit up this link, fill out a few quick fields, and upload three recent looks that best represent what you do (preferably on a human model). Our panel will select their favorite designers and give them custody of the spotlight at Artopia.
We can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to. C’mon, Dallas. Show us what you got.
