There are good things you can do with your 5-year-old kid, and there are bad. We were always unsure which category a shoplifting trip to 7-Eleven belonged in, but the video above clears that right up. DPD sent over the video. The incident happened on August 29 at the 7-Eleven at 225 E. Colorado Blvd.
–:12 It starts with one couple at the back of the store shoving bottles of laundry detergent into her purse and his waistband. –:20 Another couple walks up, this one with a kid. –1:08 Man stuffs more detergent into his pants. –1:46 The kid, who looks like he’s five or six, covers his eyes and turns away as the woman starts to load detergent into her purse.
It’s like earmuffs, but for eyes. The couples left with about $100 in laundry detergent. The son left with a valuable life lesson: if you pretend didn’t see it, it didn’t happen.
