This is but a sample of Hal Samples‘s photos taken Saturday afternoon and evening, as Frank Campagna and his band of artists were wrapping up the Deep Ellum Mural Project just a few weeks after kick-off. (The tunnel’s gone; long live the tunnel!) Patrick M. is compiling the whole wingding for a forthcoming slide show, but here’s a glimpse of Campagna, the proud papa for whom every Deep Ellum wall is a canvas in need of covering. (Say, is that Walker Texas Railey behind him?)
