Al Gore was out in Marin County, California, yesterday signing copies of his new book, The Assault on Reason and 1,001 Other Summertime Smoothie Recipes, and, of course, he was greeted by some 2,000 peeps all begging him to run, Al, run. Among the throngs, reports the Marin Independent Journal, was:
Roger Ponn, a software consultant from the Dallas/Fort Worth area, who maintains his own Web site urging Gore to run in 2008. Ponn flew into the Bay Area on Wednesday just to attend the event.
“I think he will change his mind,” said Ponn, a native of Sri Lanka.
