Looks like the Old 97’s aren’t the only locally connected act to get some late-night television love from NBC lately.
Last week, the even-later Last Call with Carson Daly featured former Dallasite and Secret Machine Ben Curtis and his bandmate Alejandra Deheza for a show-ending musical segment, in which cameras captured the band playing “Windstorm,” from its great earlier-this-year-released Disconnect from Desire album, live at the Echoplex in Los Angeles.
After the jump, give the clip a watch. It’s definitely worth your time, if you still haven’t gotten on board with the band’s sweeping, ethereal brand of dream pop.
