The last time Disturbed were in Dallas, things got a little testy. Well, singer David Draiman did anyway, when he called out a fan for being on her cell phone during the show. (She was calling home to check on a child.) So it’s probably a good thing that one of the highlights of the Chicago metal band’s return to town over the weekend was more favorable. In fact, it included a tribute to DFW legends Pantera.

Disturbed played Gexa Energy Pavilion on Friday night with, among other acts, Breaking Benjamin. Draiman did Dallas a solid by joining Breaking Benjamin for a cover of Pantera’s “Walk” — and, it has to be said, he does a pretty mean Phil Anselmo. Over the weekend, Disturbed posted footage of the performance to their Facebook page.

Speaking of which, it looks like Draiman may have relaxed his aversion to cell phones a little bit, given the sea of people that can be seen recording in the video. Either way, check out the video below.
