Your daily dose of national music news for Wednesday, March 4, 2009…
- Somewhere, the seventh grade me is jumping up and down with glee: Motley Crue has announced that it will play Dr. Feelgood in its entirety on its upcoming Crue Fest 2: White Trash Circus tour. No word at this time whether “Rat Tail” Jimmy will be on hand for the shows.
- Apparently, the Sublime boys didn’t take notice of The Doors… er, I mean Riders on The Storm’s massive fail: The surviving members of the band are looking to tarnish its legacy by touring with a new singer.
- Harry Shearer, Christopher Guest and Michael McKean are taking off the wigs and costumes for their upcoming Spinal Tap tour. Lame! But maybe they’ll bring midgets with them instead?
