The Toadies are making plenty of noise this year. They’ve planned a reissue of their breakout debut album, Rubberneck, 20 years after its initial release. And the accompanying tour will take them from one end of the country to the other. Conspicuously missing from that schedule was a hometown show. But there will be one, and only one: A headlining spot at Homegrown Fest.

The Texas-centric music festival will hold its fifth installment in Main Street Garden Park on Saturday, May 10. Tickets are $20 ahead of time or $25 at the gate.

The rest of the lineup (which will once again feature bands with “ties to Texas,” per the Facebook event) will be announced in the coming weeks. But it’s a safe bet that a few more relatively big names are still coming — last year featured (among others) The Relatives, A.Dd+, The Polyphonic Spree and Divine Fits, affiliated to Texas via Austin’s Britt Daniel.
