The North Texas Chevy Music Showcase – not to be confused with the Chevy Stage at the State Fair – is a documentary series featuring a dozen local acts, focusing on their place and time in the North Texas music community. Starting tomorrow night, the two-minute episodes will air on WFAA right before Jimmy Kimmel Live! (and again Thursday night), and this week’s featured artist is Eleven Hundred Springs. Also featured over the next three months: The O’s, Seryn, Madison King, Quaker City Night Hawks, the Hanna Barbarians, Hares on the Mountain, D. Anson Brody, Tejas Brothers, Holy Moly, blacktopGYPSY and the Effinays.
Tomorrow night at City Tavern, The O’s and Quaker City Night Hawks perform live to kick off the series. Thursday at the Aardvark in Fort Worth, blacktopGYPSY and the Effinays do the same.
