Fort Worth’s The Cut*Off has some bad news, folks. In short? Come May 1, it’ll be no more. Writes the band in a note to DC9 HQ:
“After many years of playing around town, touring, and recording, we have decided to make May 1st at The Moon the last show of The Cut Off. It’s comes with a heavyheart because we have loved contributing to the local music scene while watching it grow and unite.”
And we’ve loved its contributions, among them the above clip from last year. “When You’re Dead” is a good song and boasts an even better video, to boot. For now, though, it seems more like a good piece of advice to pass along the band’s way.
Congrats, fellas: Now you can pay no mind to the whereabouts of your soul.
