Five years into the 21st century, the duo (Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland) still mixes big-beat tracks that sound like rip-offs from ’90s movie trailers, and that’s both good and bad for fans who turn out for The Crystal Method’s concert stop at dance club Seven on Friday. They’re still among the sharpest techno artists in America today, but onstage, they’re just two guys smacking keyboards and jumping around. Go to dance, not to watch.
