Saturday, July 7, at Dan’s Silverleaf
The Angelus return to the town of their birth, where they’ll slowly massage the stage at Dan’s Silverleaf with their hypnotic live show. Opening for the Angelus is Warren Jackson Hearne’s new outfit (though he hasn’t changed his signature black suit in over a decade), Le Leek Electrique, a big band format with a stellar lineup of veteran Denton musicians re-imagining Hearne’s dark, often fiendish songs. Seven bones gets you admission and Fort Worth singer/songwriter Clint Niosi kicks things off. Bring your thirst for sophisticated beer and deep ruminations upon the supposed meanings of life.
