Last we heard, QueFest was a festival happening in Rowlett on July 4 weekend, featuring performances from Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and the reunited-for-this-one-show Black Tie Dynasty. That much hasn’t changed, but turns out the festival, which will take place at Elgin B. Robertson Park on Lake Ray Hubbard has added some more acts to its July 2 through July 4 festivities.

In additional to the typical summertime festival fare (barbecue, carnival rides, fireworks, etc.), QueFest will now also featuring Jonny Lang, Charlie Robison, Tracy Lawrence and Cory Morrow. Lawrence will headline the pre-fireworks festivities on the 4th.

Tickets, which can be purchased here, cost $8 for adults and $6 for kids 12 and under per day.

Not too bad, I say. This festival looks like a very family friendly event for those folks watching their budgets this summer.
