There’s a good reason this two-sided poster, designed by Tractorbeam‘s Daniel Führer, has topped the list of this week’s poster submissions. It’s for a good cause, and it offers a glimpse into man’s circulatory system that no other concert poster has yet.
For the fifth year running, Rhett Miller is headlining the Cystic Fibrosis Concert Series at the Granada Theater on Saturday, November 12, this time with the help of Sarah Jaffe and The O’s. Proceeds for the event will go to benefit Cystic Fibrosis research. As of last year’s event, according to the Cystic Fibrosis Concert Series Website Miller has helped raise more than $100,000 for the cause.
Not only will the event do a mountain of good, it will offer a chance for Miller fans to get a preview of his new live album, The Interpreter Live At Largo, set to be released on Miller’s new label Maximum Sunshine Records on November 22.
Expect it to be a cover-heavy night, as Miller’s new live album is a collection of covers from The Kinks, Bob Dylan, The Pixies and more. Hell, if you’re lucky, he might even throw in the Chili’s Baby Back Ribs song.
