It’s distasteful to rip musical acts donating their time to perform for a worthy cause. So we’ll just say that this Sunday night, Naked Mom on the Lawn, GOAT, Imaginary Friends, Daddy Dub and Bill’s Clinton will light up the Torch Lounge, 5361 Sears at Greenville Avenue, and DFW NORML will be on hand. Getting in the joint is $5 for 21 and up, $8 for 18-20.
Now, we’re not saying anything about this lineup, but past NORML events have chronically booked terrible music; surely there are some good musicians that would support this cause and try to put a little green in the pot?
Oh, you’ll be able to score some passes to Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay at this event. Free tickets means you can buy some munchies with the money you’ll save. –Jesse Hughey
