It’s a very interesting social experiment, watching grown-ups reduced to their teenage selves, swooning and beaming at their former teen idols. Such will certainly be the case when New Edition hit the Verizon Theatre. Ronnie DeVoe, Johnny Gill, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Ralph Tresvant and Bobby Brown are back with the moves and some new material, but I am mostly in it for medleys of their original work and any arrangement of “Cool It Now” they bring to the table.
