Shiny Around The Edges has a lot going on these days. Aside from following Air Review’s lead and making the above video, in which they rearrange the melody and general mood of fellow Dallas Observer Music Award nominee Neon Indian’s “I Should Have Taken Acid With You,” the Best Experimental/Avant Garde Act nominees in this year’s installment of the DOMAs have a new disc on the way, Denton’s Dreaming, which is due sometime in September on the label they operate, Paperstain Recordings. We’ll have more news and info on that release as it approaches.
