The official spark starting the official battle royale between Jessica Simpson and Carrie Underwood could be starting here, no thanks to Tony Romo. As you may know, Simpson is planning on making the move to the country music scene and was apparently none too encouraged by her beau. Meanwhile, Romo’s ex Underwood dominates the scene with her third Grammy, chart-topping albums and appearances on many a best-dressed lists. Underwood will probably mop up honky-tonk floors with Simpson’s attempts at career resurrection, but she might watch out if she plans to take Simpson on overseas. — Rich Lopez
