New York based emo-rock act Bayside have been around for a while–since the year 2000 to be exact. But that doesn’t mean their new music has lost any of the angst of their earlier records. Its members are just taking a different approach from many of the bands in the emo community, of which they are a part. Quite a bit more straight-forward than their peers, they describe themselves as “an American rock band.”

And they’ll be passing through town tomorrow night at The Prophet Bar in support of their forthcoming record Killing Time, which won’t be out until February 22, 2011. Also on the bill is Senses Fail, an equally energetic post-hardcore band out of New Jersey.

The kind folks over at The Prophet Bar have passed along three pairs of tickets to see these two titans of emo tomorrow night. We’re giving them away to some lucky DC9 readers. To find out how they can be yours, hit the jump.

Just email Pete with the words “Beat Valley” in the subject line, and the tickets will be yours. Good luck!
