For over a decade now, Memphis-based garage punk Jay Reatard‘s been cranking out albums and molding his reputation as a prolific, but mercurial performer. Seriously, remember when he was supposed to play Club Dada last August? Ah, memories…

Nonetheless, Reatard’s 2009 release, Watch Me Fall, has managed to stand as the artist’s most commercially successful release to date, even earning him an MTVu Woodie Award nomination. So perhaps Reatard’s got his act a little more together these days? Maybe: After all, it was just about two months ago now that his band quit on him mid-tour. Hmmm. Either way, it should be an eventful evening.

And, thanks to the folks at the Granada Theater, you’ll have the chance to see it all transpire, firsthand, for free. The theater’s hooked us up with five pairs of tickets to tomorrow night’s show–and we’re gonna hand them out, right now, to the first five people to email me with the words “Watch Jay Fall” in the subject line. Good luck!

Update: Contest is over. Congrats to our winners!
