Laura Gregory, one quarter of the Americana outfit known as The Bloodroots Barter, is originally from Denton, but now calls Hyden, Kentucky her home. So, it’s kind of a reunion tonight as Laura and the boys joining her in the band play The Boiler Room.
“This show is really exiting for me,” Gregory tells DC9 via email. “I get to see a lot of old friends and family for the first time from the stage.”
And to make things even better, The Bloodroots Barter sent along a free MP3 for the readers of DC9. It’s a hot little number called “Don’t Let Your Deal Go Down” from the band’s newly released effort CH3OH. Give the song a listen–and download, if you like–after the jump.
