The trio comprised of former Dallasite Benjamin Curtis and twin sisters Alejandra and Claudia Deheza were mid-tour when the latter Deheza’s absence at Austin City Limits Music Festival raised a lot of questions as to her whereabouts.

Turns out, according to the band’s publicist, that Deheza has been missing in action since their performance in “San Francisco, which I believe was October 2.”

On Tuesday, the band’s remaining members responded to Claudia’s absence with this short message on their Facebook page:

“Hi everybody. We just wanted to let you all know that Claudia has left the band for personal reasons. In the meantime, we are excited to continue to write and tour as usual, and we’re very much looking forward to seeing you all at our upcoming shows. ♥ Alley and Benjamin”

Reasons for Deheza’s split from the band are unknown, but now it looks like we can claim them as a 50 percent Dallas band. So we’ve got that going for us, which is nice.
