Earlier this year, Baltimore based indie folk duo Wye Oak” target=”_blank”>Wye Oak released its debut release, If Children on Merge Records. Since its release, the Wye Oak twosome has garnered critical acclaim for both the record and their impressive live show…and they’ll be bringing the latter (and likely the former, too) to The Chat Room Pub in Ft. Worth tonight.

Their music is a melodic blend of shoegaze, folk and pop, and their incredibly catchy debut single, “Warning”, was one of the great songs of early 2008. Seriously, I dare you to listen to “Warning” and be able to get it out of your head by the end of the day.
