Word out of the Monrovia, California, HQ for Trader Joe’s, is that the company’s first two Texas stores will both open on Friday, June 15 at 8 a.m. One is in the Woodlands north of Houston and the other in Fort Worth.
The Fort Worth location at 2701 South Hulen Street and is over 12,000 square feet. The company warns that area residents around the store can expect to receive a copy of Trader Joe’s “Fearless Flyer”, which is a “somewhat irreverent description of a timely selection of Trade Joe’s products.”
Trader Joe’s offers a hodgepodge of imported and domestic foods and beverages, including beer and wine. It carries more than 1,000 items under the Trader Joe’s private label, including salsas, fried rice, sauces and many other things. Each store introduces over a dozen new items each week, in an appeal to your adventurous side.
The Fort Worth store is about one mile south of Central Market on Hulen and, strategically, about one mile west of the TCU campus.
