Trader Joe’s has finally revealed its plans for the Dallas area.
Per Gubbins at Pegasus (via the DMN), the first is slated to open this spring at Preston and Park in Plano, and the second at the old Arcadia Theater location on Lower Greenville, which is scheduled to open in the fall.
Trader Joe’s started out in California in the 1950s as a chain of small convenience stores and the chain has since grown to include much larger stores with a mix of basic and hard-to-find foods at “value prices,” many under their own label. Each store offers a variety of products; some locally produced.
Lake Highlands had been lobbying for the store to go there.
