The folks at Chick-fil-A (multiple locations) are giving away free food, and you don’t have to dress like a cow or make online reservations, though you do have to jump through one hoop to score this deal. Head to any location tomorrow from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and request a packet of ketchup, then you’ll receive a free medium order of waffles fries. Sound a little strange? Heinz is partnering up with the fast-food chain to promote their new Dip & Squeeze Ketchup, which is just regular old ketchup in a fancy packaging that we don’t think warrants an explanation. We can see the merit in offering an alternative to dispensing the condiment, but why did it take so long for Heinz to come up with this design? We’ve been bitching forever about those little packets that barely produce a teaspoon of ketchup. Well, thanks anyway Heinz (and Chick-fil-A) for the free fries, but we’ll be eating ours with ketchup from Whataburger.
