At the end of dinner service on April 30, chef Stephan Pyles’ eponymous’ “New Millennium Southwestern Cuisine” restaurant will close its doors for good. Worry not, Pyles has plans for that Ross Avenue space: Flora Street Café, a reportedly upscale, more formal restaurant that will serve “elevated Texas cuisine.” He’s certainly not the only chef going in that direction right now. Texas: So hot right now, culinarily speaking.
The final week of service at Stephan Pyles runs Monday, April 25 to Saturday, April 30. As an added bonus: “All patrons will receive one complimentary glass of sparkling wine during dinner service next week as a thank you for the support over the last 10 years,” according to a press release.
Free booze, Southwestern fare and nostalgia. It’s hard to beat that.
