Nothing says toned and sexy like endless piles of free pancakes. But at least this order is stacked up for charity.

IHOP announced that Laura Kaeppeler, recently crowned Miss America, plans to serve as spokeswoman for IHOP’s annual National Pancake Day celebration on Tuesday, February 28. The event benefits Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and IHOP requests customers leave vouluntary donations in exchange for free pancakes.

“Helping children in need is a great way to start my year of service as Miss America 2012 and I am honored to serve as a national Goodwill Ambassador for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals,” Kaeppeler in a perfect Miss America statement. There’s no word about whether she’ll actually be flipping pancakes, handing them out, or just looking pretty. My guess is she won’t be pigging out on them.
