In their super-neighborly way, Il Cane Rosso has invited local celebrity chefs to come over and play in their kitchen on Monday nights. “You cook, we’ll clean,” is about how the invite reads.

To which the invitees have responded, “You just sit there and look pretty. I got this.”

So, starting Monday, November 7, guest chefs will work the Il Cane Rosso pizza pit and create their own pizzaiolo. For each celebrity-pizza sold, $1 will be donated that chef’s charity of choice. At the end of the month, the chef who’s sold the most pizzialos will win a “Cane Rosso Golden Peel.”

The November lineup is as follows:

By now you might be saying, “But wait, Il Cane Rosso isn’t open on Monday nights.” Well, beginning November 7, not only are they open on Mondays from 5 to 10 p.m., it’s also “Industry Night,” with specials on food and drinks for those in the industry.

Starting October 25 they will also be open on Tuesdays for dinner from 5 to 10 p.m.

Chef Luscher, munching on fries in the photo above, just posted on his Facebook page about his night of pie glory: “Hmmmm…. What to do?”

That’s easy. Bacon.
