Fort Worth has recently become a dining mecca, but back when it was still a gastronomic desert, one of its oases was Reflections. (Reflections is so classy it’s located on the mezzanine level–not the top–of the Worthington Hotel. In other words, the food’s so good, the place can eschew a view.) You can, however, see fine dining from a different point of view at Reflections since the restaurant instituted Chef’s Table Dining. Forget the printed menu and the beautifully civilized dining room. Reserve a table in the kitchen, right across from the main line, and watch as talented chef Jeffrey Glick and his staff, live and in person, prepare your meal right before your very eyes. Four courses for $40; five for $48–beverage, tax, gratuity not included.
