Del Frisco’s is planning to open two new area restaurants this year. The restaurant group is based in Southlake and currently has more then 30 restaurants across the U.S., including the flagship Double Eagle Steak House in downtown Dallas and Fort Worth, and the more casual trendy and casual Del Frisco’s Grille in Uptown on McKinney.

The steak house chain went to Wall Street in July of 2012 with an initial public offering (Nasdaq, DFRG) that raised over $75 million dollars.

The first new Del Frisco’s Grille is slated to open this fall in Sundance Square Plaza in Fort Worth, which will be flanked by two new buildings currently under construction. From the press release, “Designed to offer a dramatic and open-feel setting, the layout of the 9,000 square foot, two-story restaurant will include mezzanine seating, and a large patio on the ground floor, perfect for outdoor dining. The space will also incorporate both an indoor and outdoor bar on the ground floor, along with an additional bar on the second story.”

The Del Frisco’s Grille in Southlake isn’t expected to open until winter of 2013 and will also be on the large side of things at 8,000 square feet, two-stories with both indoor and outdoor seating and areas for lounging.
