This Sunday, October 2, chef Kent Rathbun of Abacus, Jasper’s and Blue Plate Kitchen, and his wife, Tracy, will host their eighth annual Art Party benefiting the Dallas Division of March of Dimes. The event will feature works by local artists along with gourmet food and drinks.
“Together with these artists and the continued support of the Dallas community,” Rathbun said, “we’re able to showcase local talent in a fun and inviting atmosphere, all while raising money for March of Dimes, a worthwhile organization that’s very important to Tracy and me.”
The featured local artists for this year’s event are painters Mindy Collins, Rick Griggs and Tamara White, sculptor and photographer Scott Harben, and glass workers Ron and Chris Marrs.
All the proceeds from ticket sales will directly benefit the Dallas Division of March of Dimes by supporting their missions of advocacy, community programs and education to ensure all babies are born healthy.
