The best way to turn future generations into film lovers is to start them young. If you give younglings a fun afternoon in the sun, filled with live music, crafting activities, bounce houses and balloon animals, and let it all culminate in the screening of family favorite The Sandlot, then they’ll soon be thanking you with Oscar acceptance speeches. The Dallas Film Society takes responsibility for the cinematic appetites of Dallas children on Saturday as it presents the 2013 Dallas International Film Festival Family Day at Klyde Warren Park (2012 Woodall Rodgers Freeway).
