Last week, the world experienced a great loss when wrestling legend Randy Savage and his wife suffered an automobile accident, with the “Macho Man” passing from his injuries. Fortunately, his newly wed wife Lynn survived the crash with minor injuries, and our hearts go out to her and all the family members who survive Savage. He was 58.
The collective Interwebs (which we all know derives most of its sustenance from Slim Jims — into which the Macho Man insisted we all snap for many years) is also mourning the loss of a beloved cultural icon and all-around cool dude. The image you see above for this week’s WTF? is just one of the many homages to a figure that was taken from us far too soon. Obviously, he’s got one more score to settle in that big wrestling ring in the sky. Once a wrestler, always a superstar. Rest in peace, Randy.
