If your last ‘Murica-induced chill-down-the-spine was on the Fourth of July, you’re due for a fix. Forget all of our domestic troubles — the ugly politics, inequalities, hardships and Toby Keith songs — and let a wave of patriotism wash right over you during the Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s latest ReMix concert, featuring the works of quintessential American composers. Aaron Copland’s “Appalachian Spring: Suite” is a pared-down symphony performance loaded with fourths, fifths and flourishes that conjure up images of pioneers, adventurers and other triumphant American things. Along with John Adams’ “Grand Pianola Music,” it pops under the direction of conductor Case Scaglione, who makes his DSO debut.
