“Chickity China, the Chinese chicken.” Those infamous five words aren’t a random mix I just threw in here for kicks. Think really, really hard. Now do you remember? Ah ha, of course–Barenaked Ladies! I’m sure you thought “One Week” was the only song these guys ever played, but apparently these guys have enough stuff to put together an entire tour. So even if you’re completely oblivious to every other song, you’ve always got that one to sing along to. What could be more exciting? Perhaps the opening act: Greenville’s own Ben Kweller joins the Ladies at the stop in Dallas next week. If the ticket prices have you running the other way, get this–every online ticket purchase includes the Ladies’ newest album, All In Good Time. So whether you’re an indie-loving Kweller groupie or an old-school Barenaked Ladies aficionado, the show should please a wide range of music fans. The guys rock out with special guest Angel Taylor 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Verizon Theatre, 1001 Performance Place. Tickets are $39.50 to $62.50.
