Frame for frame, is there a more quotable movie than Princess Bride? Hmm. Ghostbusters, maybe. (“That’s a big Twinkie.”) Monty Python and the Holy Grail? (“Your father smelt of elderberries.”) Young Frankenstein, Pulp Fiction … this is the sort of question movie geeks love. Princess Bride might not be No. 1 on your list, but it is the only movie to have Robin Wright as Princess Buttercup, and most quotable or not, that makes it worth another look. See for yourself as Alamo Drafthouse (100 S. Central Expressway in Richardson) screens the tale of scheming Sicilians, vengeful Spaniards and “wuv, true wuv” along with subtitled quotes for a karaoke-style quote-along at 7 p.m. Tickets, $12, are available at drafthouse.com/dfw.
