I’ll be straight with you—I’m a sucker for the holiday jams, whether it’s “White Christmas,” “Carol of the Bells” or the classic Darlene Love/Phil Spector joint “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home).” I know I’m not alone on this (I’m also pretty sure I’m not the only person around that will throw a fist in the air for Band-Aid’s “Do They Know It’s Christmas?”). Granted, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra’s “Home for the Holidays” program may not be the most rockin’ holiday extravaganza in the world, but with Mr. Spector otherwise tied up this year, it’s probably your best bet this week. Catch an evening of carols, sing-alongs and Santa 8 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday at Bass Performance Hall, Fourth and Calhoun streets in Fort Worth. Tickets are $24 to $76. Call 817-665-6000 or visit fwsymphony.org.
Fri., Nov. 23, 8 p.m.; Sat., Nov. 24, 2 & 8 p.m., 2007
