Bengal tigers are kind of a big deal these days. Between The Life of Pi and Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, we’re thinking it’s a good idea to heed the words, wisdom and wit of the national animal of India, especially if it’s haunting people in a morality tale. The 2010 Pulitzer Prize finalist by Rajiv Joseph, Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo tells the story of two American Marines, an Iraqi translator and the ghost of a slain tiger who wander the streets of Baghdad in their search for meaning, redemption and a solid gold toilet seat. Get a little tiger time at 8 p.m. Friday when Theatre Three brings Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo center stage at 2800 Routh St. Performances take place Thursdays through Sundays, running through February 9. Tickets are $10 to $50. Call 214-871-3300 or visit theatre3dallas.com.
Thursdays-Sundays. Starts: Jan. 18. Continues through Feb. 9, 2013
