Jefferson Blvd.) is just the type of joint you’ll find Woody Allen’s 1977 tour de force, Annie Hall, on 35mm. Emblematically New York, quintessentially Allen, Annie Hall is the thinly veiled autobiographical love story between introspective comedian Alvy Singer and tightly wound Midwesterner and aspiring lounge singer Annie Hall. An endearingly pretentious intellectual’s rom-com, Annie Hall proves that crippling neuroses know no ethnicity, religion or geographical region.
