If someone asked me if I wanted to attend BloodaPalooza, then I would automatically assume the cast from True Blood (that other, non-glittery vampire hit on HBO) was holding a convention for all their fanatics, but I would be completely wrong. BloodaPalooza happens to be a tattoo, arts and music festival coming to town this weekend, Friday through Sunday, at Market Hall (2200 N. Stemmons Freeway). For $25 per person, you get to walk around listening to bands play while wondering to yourself, “Why did that 200-pound sumo wrestler look-alike get a unicorn jumping over a rainbow tattooed on his arm?” The event will also be showcasing more than 100 artists, MMA cage fights (brutal), a wakeboard rail jam (awesome), BMX exhibitions and a lot more. For more information, call 214-934-6080.
