As much as we love DIY design and craft projects, there just isn’t enough room in our house for a studio worthy of Martha Stewart’s praise. That’s why workshops at Oil & Cotton make more sense, especially when it’s no-brainer creativity craft time like the Neighborhood Collage workshop. Go to Oil & Cotton, 837 W. 7th St., from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Friday to construct a neighborhood-inspired collage of your own using bits and pieces of cloth and paper the studio has saved up from other classes. It only costs you $5. Call 214-988-9189 or visit oilandcotton.com. As Martha would say, it’s a good thing.
