When corporate fat cats are stuffing bonus cash into their bankrupt drawers, The Man getting you down seems more inevitable than ever. If the worst recession since your grandma can’t get Him down, what can? Seems to us like Dixie’s Tupperware Party has it figured out: The country’s numero uno Tupperware seller (really!) appropriates the brand and all it holds dear into a one-lady play that’s been featured on the Today Show. Dixie’s runs through Sunday at the McKinney Performing Arts Center, 111 N. Tennessee St. in McKinney. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Thursday, 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $16 to $26. Visit McKinneyPerformingArtsCenter.org.
Thu., May 7, 7:30 p.m.; Fri., May 8, 8 p.m.; Sat., May 9, 8 p.m.; Sun., May 10, 2 p.m., 2009
