“Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!” Get your umbrellas and stuff your oversized bags in celebration of Mary Poppins this fall. The world’s most famous nanny is making a stop at the Music Hall at Fair Park beginning Thursday. The original Broadway stars, including Ashley Brown and Gavin Lee, will perform classic favorites such as “A Spoonful of Sugar,” “Let’s Go Fly a Kite” and “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.” Produced by Disney and Cameron Mackintosh, the Mary Poppins musical combines the stories of P.L. Travers and the Academy Award-winning film. The NY Daily News describes the show as “a roof-raising, toe-tapping, high-flying extravaganza!” So pick a date to “Chim Chim Cher-ee” to see Mary Poppins, Bert, Mr. Banks and the rest of the crew: Mary Poppins will be at Music Hall at Fair Park at 909 1st Ave. through October 18, excluding Mondays.
