One of the most historic film sagas of all time continues to bring a massive audience wearing Yoda costumes and battling one another with light sabers–and not for Halloween. More than 30 years and generations of die-hard fans laters, Star Wars: In Concert brings the music from the films to life. Star Wars: In Concert is a multimedia event featuring music from all six films accompanied by an exhibit of Star Wars costumes, props, artifacts, production artwork and behind-the-scenes videos from the Lucasfilm Archives. Original music conductor John Williams has won five Academy Awards, including one for his original music for the first Star Wars film in 1977 with the London Symphony Orchestra. The man behind C-3PO, Anthony Daniels, narrates the concert live with a full symphony orchestra and choir accompanied by scenes from the films on a three-story-tall screen. The two-hour musical journey has already ventured through London where one performance wasn’t enough. Producers from Another Planet Entertainment planned a one-night event, but tickets sold so well they had to add another. The concert hits Dallas for one night at Cowboys Stadium on Friday at 7:30.
